Given the accomplishments and high level of education of our members, Net IP has quite a powerful network. We organize events to enable members of a certain profession to network with each other (eg healthcare professionals, accountants. engineers). In addition we have connected aspiring MBAs to meet other applicants, present students and graduates.
One important aspect of our network is to help inform each other of job and business opportunities either in the company we presently work for or otherwise. Creating awareness of local networking events is also encouraged. The network extends across the San Francisco Bay Area but we plan to work closely with the Los Angeles and San Diego chapters to help members find opportunities all over California.
During the year we plan to work with other networking groups and arrange dinners with senior management of high profile companies enabling mentors and protegees to easily interact.
